Raisman

Alexandra Rose Raisman is an American gymnast born on May 25, 1994 in Needham, Massachusetts. Raisman has trained alongside 2008 Olympian Alicia Sacramone with coach Mihai Brestyan. Raisman was a member of the 2011 World Championship team that won the gold medal. On July 1, 2012, Raisman was named to the 2012 USA Gymnastic Olympic team. On July 31, 2012, Raiman and her teammates became only the second American team to win a team gold medal. Raisman placed fourth in the all-around competition though she tied bronze medalist Aliya Mustafina's core. A tie breaker was used totaling Mustafina's and Raisman's three highest scores and Raisman ended up in fourth place.
